Until my late thirties I lived in Europe, where as a physician I owned and operated a private medical practice. For 10 years I combined modern family medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (predominantly acupuncture) in my treatments. Upon moving to the United States, in 1999, I have transitioned to energy medicine, massage therapy, and naturopathic (holistic) medicine.
I graduated in 2002 from the 700-hour massage therapy training at The Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy in Chicago. In 2009, to fulfill Maryland state requirements, I took additional training, graduating from the 600-hour massage therapy training at Holistic Massage Training Institute in Baltimore, MD. In 2011 I completed my naturopathic studies and earned a doctorate degree from the International Institute of Original Medicine. My doctorate thesis was on fatigue-related conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, adrenal fatigue and environmental illness.
I am a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine; National Board Certified Maryland State Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Reiki Master Teacher.
My approach to health and healing is holistic, meaning that I address the all aspects of our being: body, mind and soul – all three affecting each other and strongly connected with the universal source.
I guide you to create strength and balance between these aspects through consultations, body and energy work, nutrition, lifestyle choices, supplements and homeopathic preparations. My goal for you is to find a way to lead a healthful, joyful and purposeful life.
